I would love to have a headboard similar to this...in more of a brown/cream color scheme.
And ideas from you lovely design bloggers on how I could achieve this look? On a friendly budget!?

hmmmm, i have to think on it, but my first thought is covering a large canvas with fabric or a lightweight wooden board. if you found a lace fabric that you loved, you could paint the canvas a solid color and stretch the fabric over the painted board creating a "see through" affect. hope that helps. others might a better idea.
